Did you know that the number of computer jobs is increasing three times faster than the number of Computer Science graduates? That is one of the main reasons that the US House of Representatives designated the week of December 9-15 Computer Science Education week. The focus of this week is to promote CS education across K-12. This year, the goal is to have 10 million students participate in an Hour of Code. To participate, students complete one of many hour-long self-guided tutorials that introduces the basics of coding and Computer Science. There are tutorials available K-12 and no previous experience is needed. The tutorials can be completed on PCs, Macs, or tablets and there are even some unplugged tutorials available.
