Watch Know Learn

I enjoyed Alan’s entry last week. I was partial to the snowboarding events. My son has a ramp and a rail in the backyard and I can watch his tricks anytime it snows! I loved watching Alex Deibold win the bronze in snowboard cross. Imagine the thrill of serving the Olympics team as a wax tech four years ago and then having the team celebrate your bronze medal this year! The skiers were fun to watch as well...and who had dry eyes when we listened to the family of Sarah Burke and watched the skiers forming a heart in tribute to Sarah?

So, speaking of videos...here is another great collection of educational videos to check out. Watch Know Learn

Here is a blurb from this website: “The Vision behind WatchKnowLearn is simple: To provide a world-class, online domain on which educators can store, categorize, and rate the best, K – 12 educational videos on the Internet today. And to make this service FREE so teachers, parents and students everywhere may have access to those videos.”

If interested, you can register and set up a class, assign videos and track what students are viewing. You will notice that the videos are filtered for students ages 3-18.
