Here is a great way to help students get rid of their over-used words. Many times, students use the same word over and over again as they write-whether they are writing in science, social studies, math or English. This web site is a lot like Wordle but it provides synonyms for the words in the student's text. It can also give the student the part of speech and examples of its use.
