Kidblogs are Safe and Simple
Are you looking for a safe and simple way to get your students composing online? Then Kidblogs may be the solution. Kidblogs was created by teachers in order to give their students a safe and easy environment in which to post ideas, collaborate with peers, and participate in online class discussions. The teacher creates a class account. This account includes a blog for each student as well as a class blog. The account is a closed, private environment, meaning the members of the class can view each others blogs, but the outside world is excluded. A username and password can be created to give parents a way to access blogs, but not comment or post on blogs. The teacher can control what is posted by requiring that all posts and comments first be approved. Not sold yet? Here are a few more benefits: students are not required to have email accounts, the site is free of annoying advertising, and the account is totally free! Visit Kidblogs to set up your class and get your students writing online.
