Former NFL defensive end, turned actor - Bubba Smith
The actress who plays the dowager on Downton Abbey - Maggie Smith

Set of Museums in Washington DC - The Smithsonian
Online Educational Resource associated with a set of museums in Washington DC -  Smithsonian Education!

In addition to resources that relate to the Museum, the Smithsonian Education website offers resources that go along with your curriculum, even if you don't plan to visit the Museum.

As an educator, you can find lesson plans, videos, animal cams from the Zoo, virtual tours, and lots and lots of pictures.  You can search the resources by State Standards, or you can just do a simple keyword search to find more information about different subjects.

The student section has interactive learning simulations, videos, and activities for lots of different subjects!

Families can even use the website to find resources for planning a visit to the Smithsonian!

Enjoy!
