Virsona

Have you ever imagined what it would be like to sit down and interview a historical figure?  Virsona is a collection of "virtual personas" that allows you to do just that!

With elementary students, you can have the class brainstorm questions to ask a famous American you need to review for SOLs or ask questions of any other virsona on the website.  Note: You do not have to login to chat with the virsonas on the website.

Teachers and students over 13 with an email account can create their own virtual persona such as a teacher, historical or literacy figure. Anyone can ask questions after you or your students answer a variety of questions about the persona of your/their choice. After answering these questions, you simply share the link to the virtual persona and anyone can interview the virtual persona.

You could create a class mascot and share the link with parents so that parents can learn more about your class routine, homework assignments, class rules, etc.

Check this out at: Virsona

Enjoy!
